The weekend was packed with drama, excitement, and resilience. Oscar Amato, hailing from The South-West, had to overcome a significant challenge — replacing an engine overnight — before returning stronger for the final night of racing.
Despite a fierce field and a demanding 25-lap final, Oscar surged ahead, showcasing tactical driving and unwavering focus. He snatched the lead by lap twelve, held off a late charge from Jake Leaman, and crossed the line just 0.564 seconds ahead — clinching the WA State Title in thrilling fashion and setting the fastest lap of the race at 20.704 seconds.
